The clean, unfussy design oozes luxury, and while we prefer the moody, all-black exterior of the Surface Pro 2, there is something rather alluring about the Surface Pro 3. Light grey metal reaches all around the back and along the tapered edges.

Apple iPad mini 2 with Retina display Review

Apple was rather less effusive about the new, upgraded edition of its compact tablet – the iPad mini with Retina display.

Apple hasn’t only upgraded it to a crisp Retina display, it’s also swapped in the new 64-bit Apple A7 processor found in the Air, and ushered in a wave of more subtle all-round upgrades.

PS4 System Software 2.00 Update With Share Play Lands October 28

Sony has confirmed that the much-awaited PlayStation 4 system software 2.00 update will start rolling out from October 28.

Sony had revealed the update would feature the Share Play 'online local co-op experience'; broadcast and video sharing; a dedicated app for YouTube, a What's New feature with a new real-time activity tracker and friends-of-friends suggestions, and real name search.

Asus has launched a small-form-factor gaming PC under its Republic of Gamers brand. The device is inspired by gaming consoles which are usually smaller and more versatile than desktop PCs.
