GTX 760 vs GTX 770 GPU comparison review: Which GK104 Kepler graphics card is best?

The GTX 760 is considerably cheaper than the GTX 770, but the latter graphics card obviously compensates with greater power. Is it better to spend less, or to get the higher frame rates of the 770?

Comparing the GTX 760 and 770 isn't as outlandish as it may seem. Indeed, they share the same chip - the GK104.

nVidia GTX 760 v Radeon HD 7950 GPU comparison: which is the best mid-range graphics card?

The nVidia GTX 760 and Radeon HD 7950 graphics cards sit in the mid-range of gamers' GPUs, offering a framerate boost for around £200.

The nVidia GTX 760 and Radeon HD 7950 are modestly priced graphics cards that lack the £300+ price tag of, for instance, the Radeon R9 280X range.

AMD 2901 Bit-Slice Processor Family

AMD 2901 bit-slice processor family includes 2901 and 2903 4-bit microprocessors slices, 2909 and 2911 microprogram sequencers, 2910 microprogram controller and other support chips. The 2901 processor consists of 16 4-bit registers, 4-bit ALU and associated decoding/multiplexing circuits.

The 2901 ALU can perform 8 different functions (they are encoded into 3 bits within the microinstruction): addition, subtraction and logic operations. Multiple 2901 bit-slice processors could be combined together to build microprocessors with any data width (in 4 bits increments).
