Am286ZX/LX is a family of highly integrated
x86-compatible microprocessors based on AMD 80C286 CPU core. The CPU has
all of features of 80286 processor, including all 286 registers,
instructions and addressing modes, real and protected modes, and support for external 80C287 Floating-Point Unit.
Am286ZX/LX
devices integrate all PC-AT motherboard system on a chip: bus controller,
DRAM controller, DMA and interrupt controllers, real time clock with
CMOS static RAM, and other peripherals.
